The Institute of Psychology of the University of Gdańsk employees, together with doctoral students, students and alumni, declared free, online psychological support for people in need during the COVID-19 threat. During this difficult time, filled with unease, uncertainty and often loneliness, people, including University of Gdańsk students and employees, seek such support.

Social Sciences at University of Gdańsk in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings

In Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject: Social Science 2019, published on October 17, 2018, the University of Gdansk was ranked in the sixth hundred of the world's universities running research activity in the field of social sciences.
 
Our university was ranked in this subject-based list for the first time - and right on the 3rd position among the other universities in Poland.

An overview on qualitative methodological implications and following by the main qualitative approaches including deep discussion about content analysis, grounded theory and phenomenology… but that was just the beginning! From 21st to 23rd of May 2018 psychology students at University of Gdansk had an unusual opportunity to take part in the Workshop of Applied Qualitative Research conducted by prof.
