The Institute of Psychology of the University of Gdańsk employees, together with doctoral students, students and alumni, declared free, online psychological support for people in need during the COVID-19 threat. During this difficult time, filled with unease, uncertainty and often loneliness, people, including University of Gdańsk students and employees, seek such support.

It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to international scientific events taking place in Gdańsk, Poland – organized under the honorary patronage of the Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage – General Inspector of Monuments and the Polish National Commission for UNESCO.

In Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject: Social Science 2019, published on October 17, 2018, the University of Gdansk was ranked in the sixth hundred of the world's universities running research activity in the field of social sciences.

An overview on qualitative methodological implications and following by the main qualitative approaches including deep discussion about content analysis, grounded theory and phenomenology… but that was just the beginning! From 21st to 23rd of May 2018 psychology students at University of Gdansk had an unusual opportunity to take part in the Workshop of Applied Qualitative Research conducted by prof. Hamid Reza Khankeh from Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden) and University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (Tehran, Iran).


With present and prospective students in mind, as well as those with an interest in our university, the University of Gdańsk has launched a virtual guide to the UG Campus in Oliwa.

The guide offers virtual walks across faculty and other university buildings as well as the external grounds of the Campus in Oliwa.
